Enactment of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Substance Abuse (NDPSSA) Act 2005
Based on the findings of the NCCNPS, the multi–sectoral task force was formed to draft the Legislative Act on Narcotic & Psychotropic Substances. The Act was finally endorsed by the 84th National Assembly on 30th November 2005 which reads as “Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Substance Abuse (NDPSSA) Act 2005.
