Narcotic Control Board (NCB)

His Excellency, Lyonchen Sangye Nidup, Prime Minister of Bhutan, formally inaugurated the commissioning of the Narcotic Control Board on June 15th, 2006 at the Royal Banquet Hall.

After the inaugural ceremony the first meeting of the Narcotic Control Board was held on the same day under the chairman of the Minister for Health, His Excellency Lynpo Jigme Singay. The board was established under the provision of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance and Substance Abuse Act, 2005.
