UNODC mission to Bhutan on Project H60
Related to Precursor Control Project H60, BNCA hosted two members UNODC missions to Bhutan. The Regional Precursor Control Project Coordinator, Mr. Rajiv Walia and Ms. Arati Kukreja visited Bhutan from 31st of march to 4th April 2007. During their visit, they held discussion and conducted CBT workshop for the law enforcement officials to sensitize on the drug & crime situation in the region and the misuse of chemicals as precursor for production of some drugs. The team had two rounds of discussions with BNCA in which program and policy discussions were held with the staff of BNCA
The team also briefed the focal persons from the enforcement agencies on the policies and strategies on precursor control regime in South Asia.
Computer Based Training on Precursor Project H60 was conducted by the team and for the enforcement agencies and stakeholders to sensitize on the misuse of precursor chemicals.
Discussions were carried out for precursor chemical to provide resources to the national training centres for law enforcement agencies
Discussions carried out to provide resources on the for establishment of the laboratory testing of drugs
